Carmina Villaroel Braces Herself for a Challenging Role







Carmina Villaroel-Legazpi (born María Carmina Muñiz Villaroel; August 17, 1975) is a Filipino actress, television presenter, and former model. Villaroel was with Regal Entertainment in the early 1980s, and had several movies with the film production company. In the mid-1990s, she moved to Viva Films. She returned to ABS-CBN in January 2012.












She believes that her one-year-hiatus from teleseryes helped her prepare for her upcoming challenging role. She takes a year of rest to brace herself for this new soap with ABS-CBN Bridges of Love which requires love scenes. Although she does not expect this kind of project, she is now motivated to do what is required of her.

Jazz Ocampo is Now a Kapuso Star







Jazzmin Leslie Ocampo McDonald, better known by her stage name Jazz Ocampo (born December 17, 1997 in Las Piñas, Metro Manila, Philippines), is a Filipina actress and commercial model who was a contract artist of TV5.











One of the reasons she transfers to Kapuso network is that she wants to explore other opportunities and expand as an artist. She feels very blessed that she is now doing a GMA weekend show InstaDAD. This is just her first project.

Marian Rivera is Ready for a Bisexual Role







Marian Rivera was born in Madrid, Spain to Francisco Javier Gracia Alonso, a Spaniard and Amalia Rivera, a Filipino from Cavite, Philippines. After graduating from college, she worked for National Institute of Mental Health where she gave out medicines, examinations and evaluation to patients, among others. She also tried becoming a SPED teacher before she was discovered for showbiz.












On her new primetime series with GMA-7, she is not going to be the leading lady. Instead, she is going to have a leading lady. She will start shooting The Rich Man's Daughter on March 11 that will feature Glaiza de Castro as her leading lady. Her new soap with Kapuso network is about Jade whose character is that of a beautiful woman who is in love with another equally beautiful woman.

Julia Barretto Patched Things Up with Dad










Julia Francesca Barretto Baldivia better known as simply Julia Barretto is a Filipino child actress. She is a talent of ABS-CBN and Star Magic. She was born on March 10, 1997 in Marikina City. She is the daughter of actors Dennis Padilla and Marjorie Barretto. She rose to prominence after being cast in ABS-CBN's Kokey where she played the lead role. She has successfully starred as the main protagonist of the 2014 melodrama fantasy series Mirabella.












In the meantime, she posted a photo last Wednesday on her Instagram account with her 53 year old father Dennis Padilla smiling. Seemingly, she and her father have patched things up. It has been more than a month already when the news that she ignored her father during a party last December broke out. She is set to celebrate her 18th birthday on March 10, and her father has already expressed his willingness to be part of the said occasion.

Jennylyn Mercado Denies Romantic Link with Raymart Santiago








Jennylyn Mercado is a Filipino actress, singer and songwriter. She gained fame as the winner of the first season of the Philippine TV series StarStruck, a reality search show on GMA Network. She has released three albums from GMA Records and Viva Records which have several popular singles such as "Sa Aking Panaginip", "Moments Of Love" collaboration with Janno Gibbs, "Maybe This Time" and "Kahit Sandali".





 








Meanwhile, many have noticed that her sweetness with Raymart Santiago behind the camera is now getting real. However, she denies romantic link with the action star by saying that it is just part of their job to be sweet on-cam, but off-cam they are just good friends. She is happy to know that many of their supporters and fans want their onscreen romance. It shows that they both justify the role given them.

Erika Chryselle Gonzales Gancayco commonly known as Erich Gonzales, is a Filipina actress, host and model. She is a contract artist of ABS-CBN's Star Magic. She started her showbiz career at the age of 14 when she joined the reality talent search Star Circle Quest. She came to prominence after her lead role in the TV series Katorse.












She admits that she has been receiving death threats since she started appearing as Janine in ABS-CBN's series Two Wives. She has already changed the setting of her Instagram for security reason. She is happy that her viewers appreciate her performance in the said soap, but she reminds them that the character she portrays is not her in real life.
