Idina Kim Menzel (born May 30, 1971) is an American actress and singer. She rose to prominence when she originated the role of Maureen Johnson in the Broadway musical Rent, a role which she reprised for the 2005 feature film adaptation of the musical. In 2013, she voiced over Elsa in Frozen. Her performance received praise from film critics, frequently focused on her performance of Let It Go.
She arrived at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport last Saturday for her concert performance at the Mall of Asia Arena, Pasay City with the ABS-CBN Philharmonic Orchestra. She had a special treat for her Filipino fans at her concert the following day at Mall of Asia Arena when the singer belted out her biggest hit, "Let It Go" from the soundtrack of the "Frozen" animated film, with a few lines in Tagalog.
