Jennylyn Mercado (born May 15, 1987) is a Filipino actress, singer
and songwriter. She gained fame as the winner of the first season of the
reality talent competition StarStruck. She is most known for receiving
much critical acclaim at her young age for her acting performances on
television and film. She has released three albums from GMA Records and Viva
Records.
Meanwhile, she's busy promoting
her latest movie entitled The Prenup
last September 29. A week ago, she started shooting her MMFF movie entry
entitled Walang Forever with JM De
Guzman. On the other hand, the actor was suddenly replaced by Jericho Rosales
because of the rumored bad encounter with the actress. However, she denied it
saying they were in good terms right now.
