Maricar Reyes (born Maricar Concepcion Pozon Reyes; June 20, 1981), is a Filipino actress, model and general practitioner. She was born in Mabalacat City, Philippines. She graduated high school from St Bridget's School in Quezon City. She finished her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the Ateneo de Manila University and studied medicine at the University of Santo Tomas Faculty of Medicine and Surgery. She passed the medical licensure exam in 2008.
She has been married for more than a year already; however, she decided not to have a baby as of now. She clarified her decision with her husband even during the start of her marriage. She added that she wanted to enjoy first being a wife before she would become a mother.
