Marriage is a socially or ritually recognized union or legal contract between spouses that establishes rights and obligations between them. Under Philippine law, marriage is defined as an inviolable social institution. In the 1987 Philippine Constitution, it is written that marriage is the foundation of the family and shall be protected by the State. However, in real life, some marriage last forever and some marriages were cut short for several reasons. There are times that the parties involved end up in a long arduous process of divorce, annulment or legal separation battle in court. Here is my list of the top Filipina celebrity break-ups. 



 

1. Sharon Cuneta and Gabby Concepcion (married in 1984)

Sharon Cuneta, is a Filipino singer, actress and TV host. She has starred in 53 films, 10 television shows, and recorded 40 albums. Her popularity has translated into the field of advertising, where she is the highest paid Filipino celebrity endorser.

Vilma Santos commonly known as Ate Vi is a Filipino actress and politician. She is known as the Star for all Seasons for her various roles in different genres of her movies and holds the titles of Grand Slam Queen and as the longest reigning box office queen of Philippine cinema. She is also a politician, currently serving as Governor of Batangas and once as mayor of Lipa City.





 
3. Nora Aunor and Christopher De Leon (married in 1975)
Nora Aunor is a critically acclaimed Filipina actress, recording artist, and film producer. She has also appeared in several stage plays, television shows, and concerts. Ruffa Gutierrez is a Filipina model, beauty queen and actress. She was the 1992 Look of the Year-Philippines, Binibining Pilipinas World 1993 and second runner-up to Miss World 1993. She began acting as a teen in the 1980s, under BMG Films. She became part of German Moreno's That's Entertainment in the early 1990s before becoming a beauty queen in 1993.





 
6. Michelle Van Eimeren and Ogie Alcasid (married in 1996)
Michelle van Eimeren (born 15 March 1972) is a beauty queen from Brisbane, Australia. She represented Australia for the 1994 Miss Universe pageant, which was held in Manila. She placed 11th overall. After her Miss Universe stint, she starred in numerous Filipino movies. She married Filipino actor/singer Ogie Alcasid in 1996 and had two children with him. She also wrote a children's book called, "Butterfly." She is also a commercial model and product endorser.





7. Ai-ai Delas Alas and Jed Salang (married in 2013)

Ai-Ai de las Alas, is a Filipino actress of film and television, dubbed as the "Philippine Queen of Comedy" and "Comedy Concert Queen". She first gained nationwide recognition for her movie Ang Tanging Ina which became a blockbuster hit. Due to the movie's popularity, it received a TV series spin-off with her again taking the lead role. Margaux Uson (born May 17, 1982), known professionally as Mocha Uson and Mocha, is a Filipino singer, dancer and model best known for her work as lead vocalist for the Mocha Girls. Her biggest break along with the rest of the Mocha Girls came in 2007 after signing up with Viva Records. She is one of the few female personalities in the Philippines who openly admit to being bisexual.


Meanwhile, she despises celebrities who endorse candidates for financial gains. She considers celebrities who endorse candidates in exchange for money like prostitute who sell sex for monetary reasons. Because of this conviction, several netizens have questioned her integrity. She is one of the avid celebrity supporters of presidential candidate former Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte.

Philippines is fast becoming the basket of counterfeit items from around the world. Luxury bags are what most ladies want to include in their growing collection of luxury items. I love bags like many other Filipinas. I usually spend considerable time shopping for these items, hunting for a bargain from store to store in different market places. I never get tired. In fact, I find it relaxing, destressing, a temporary scape from my day job. There is a saying in Latin, "Caveat emptor" which means let the buyer beware. The market place is filled with fakirs.        Bettina Carlos (born December 25, 1987 in Makati City, Philippines) is a Filipina actress. She started her career in GMA Network and a contract artist of GMA Network but later moved to rival station ABS-CBN, but during the year 2012 she moved back to her home network GMA 7.




3. Diane Medina
       Diane Medina was one of the 12 finalist of Wazzup Wazzup's 2006 Tadjock Search. After winning the search, she became a regular segment host of the satirical comedy news program and appeared as a guest host of Studio 23's morning news and talk show, Breakfast.




4. Roxanne Barcelo
       Anne Roxanne "Roxie" Jordan Barcelo (born January 20, 1985 in Fairfax, Virginia, United States) is a Filipino-American actress, model and singer, popularly known by the names Roxanne Barcelo, Roxie and Roxee B.




5. Sofia Andres

Regine Angeles to Marry in January of 2016


Diorella Regine De Leon Angeles (born October 29, 1985) is a Filipina model and actress. She started her showbiz career after winning Be Bench / The Model Search of ABS-CBN and then becoming one of ABS-CBN's Star Magic talents. After being an exclusive talent of ABS-CBN, she became a freelancer and appeared in other television networks such as TV5.


In the meantime, she is scheduled to marry her boyfriend, the former winner of Century Tuna Super Bodies, Van Victor Leano. She is now busy preparing for their wedding that will take place in Quezon City early next year. Then, they will spend honeymoon in the US and Japan. Amalia Fuentes Suffered Stroke in South Korea




Amalia Fuentes (born August 27, 1940) is a Filipino actress, and former super star of Philippine cinema. She was once dubbed the Elizabeth Taylor of the Philippines. She is the aunt of actors Aga Muhlach and Nino Muhlach. She is the mother of actress Liezl Martinez. She is the first Filipina Lux Soap model. Sampaguita Pictures launched her into full stardom in the 1956 film Movie Fan.


Meanwhile, she suffered stroke last month while she was on a vacation in South Korea. Her grandchildren, Alyanna Alfonso and Alissa Martinez confirmed. She was immediately rushed to a hospital in Seoul, Korea where she was placed in an intensive care unit. After spending almost three weeks in the hospital, the doctors finally allowed her to go back to the Philippines.

KC Recalls Her Happy Memories with Late Mita Elaine





KC Concepcion (born Maria Kristina Cassandra Cuneta Concepcion on April 7, 1985) is a Filipina actress and singer from the Philippines who is currently a National Ambassador Against Hunger of the United Nations' World Food Programme. She became an MTV Asia VJ and a product endorser both on television and in print ads.


In the meantime, a year after her grandmother Elaine Cuneta died, she recalls her happy memories of her. Although she is no longer with her now, those happy memories remain alive.
