Gabriela Annjane "Ella" Umali Cruz is a Filipina actress, model, product endorser, host, commercial model and dancer. She become more popular in the country from her under ABS-CBN's Star Magic. She was known for being the teen Cristine Reyes in the ABS-CBN's TV series Dahil Sa Pag-Ibig and she was also the partner of Francis Magundayao being the teen Piolo Pascual.
Known for her sweet image all throughout her teen years, she feels she is ready to take on more mature and sexier roles. She wants to appear sexy but not too daring. At first, she was hesitant to dress sexy. She thought that if she would dress sexy many would criticize her. However, when the viewers saw her Vanessa role in Bagito, many were happy to see her dress that way.
