Love Marie Payawal Ongpauco (born February 14, 1985), known by her stage name Heart Evangelista, is a Filipino actress, TV host, recording artist, VJ, and model. She was first discovered by a commercial agent while at a mall with her sister. She signed up with the Star Magic agency, formerly known as Talent Center, and was part of Star Circle Batch 9. She was paired with John Prats on the show G-Mik and on Trip, Ang Tanging Ina, My First Romance and Berks. Her engagement to Senator Francis "Chiz" Escudero was announced in August 2014.
They sealed their romance yesterday in an exclusive resort. Located off Quezon province, the exclusive Balesin Island Resort is accessible only by private plane about 25 minutes from Manila. Because of the distance, some of the principal sponsors begged off and sent representatives.
