Love Marie Payawal Ongpauco (born February 14, 1985), known by her stage name Heart Evangelista, is a Filipino actress, TV host, recording artist, VJ, and model. She is engaged to Senator Francis Escudero. Her foundation Heart Can aims to help children with respiratory diseases, and she is also a spokesperson for Philippine Animal Welfare Society.
Although she is still hoping her parents will attend her wedding with Senator Francis Escudero this month, she said she does not mind walking down the aisle solo. In an interview with reporters on Monday, she said walking solo symbolizes how she braved a lot of obstacles in her life. She further said that it is complicated, but she needs to understand.
