Rachel Alejandro (Born February 18, 1974 in Manila, Philippines) is a Filipino singer and actress. She is currently married to Carlos SantaMaria (married April 9, 2012). She is currently residing in Makati.
She first entered the world of showbiz at the age of 12, when she was a host on the popular TV show "That's Entertainment." At 15, following her successful TV stint, she recorded her first album, Just A Minute, for Alpha Records. The album spawned several hit songs including the #1 single "Mr. Kupido," as well as "K.S.P. (Kulang Sa Pansin)" and "Kay Tagal." The album went gold and hrer recording career was off and running.
At 40, she is conceiving a baby for the first time. The singer has a lot to be thankful for. She has a thriving business (The Sexy Chef, a healthy food delivery service), her career is on a steady course and she dotes on the growing Alejandro brood. According to her, as long as she is healthy, even if she is past 40, it is still good to bear a child.
