Claudine
Barretto-Santiago (born Claudine Margaret
Castelo Barretto; July 20, 1979) is a Filipino film and television actress.
She is best known for her lead role in the television series Mula Sa Puso
(1997-1999), of which a film adaptation was released after its run and a remake
later on. As a film actress, she has received two FAMAS Awards for Best Actress
and a Luna Award for Best Actress.
During
the interview, she revealed that she was not yet ready and complete when she
entered relationship with her now estranged husband, Raymart Santiago. At that
time, she felt sad and broke after her separation from the late actor Rico Yan.
When Raymart Santiago came to her, he was like a prince in the shining armor. She
played safe, but her game didn’t last long.
