Celestine Cruz Gonzaga-Soriano (born January 20, 1984), better
known as Toni
Gonzaga, is a Filipino singer, television host, actress, and comedienne.
She is a resident of Taytay, Rizal and the eldest daughter of Carlito
and
Crisanta Gonzaga, who also acts as her talent manager. On February 1,
2015, she announced her engagement to director Paul Soriano on The Buzz and
married on June 12, 2015.
Meanwhile, she was surprised when
her name was called to receive the best actress award on the 63rd FAMAS
Awards night that was held at Newport Performing Arts Theater in Resorts World
Manila last Sunday. After her 15 years in showbiz, she can now proudly say that
she’s an actress. She expects not to receive the award but very thankful
that her dream to be recognized as a true actress is finally fulfilled.
