7 Real Names of Filipina Celebrities Revealed Part 2

Changing names is a normal procedure when someone enters showbiz. It is regularly practiced for convenience. Some have already star studded names; thereby, a minor change has to be done with their birth names. Some have totally changed their birth names to the point of oblivion for the purpose of becoming one day famous stars in their own right. Here is my list of the real names of Filipina celebrities.







1. Bea Alonzo aka Angellie Ranollo Fagestrom

        Bea Alonzo (born October 17, 1987 Cainta, Rizal, Philippines), is a Filipina film and television actress, and singer. She is currently part of ABS-CBN contract talents. She (Phylbert Angellie Ranollo Fagestrom in real life) was born on October 17, 1987 in Philippines. Her father is British, and her mother is a Filipina. Her parents separated when she was four. She graduated grade 7 at the Jose Abad Santos Memorial School Quezon City. She attended The Fisher Valley College in Taguig, Ususan Elementary School in Ususan and Colegio de Sta Ana in Nueva Ecija.






2. Jessy Mendiola aka Jessica Mendiola Tawile


        Jessy Mendiola Tawile (born December 3, 1992), popularly known as Jessy Mendiola, is a Filipino actress. She played the role of Maria Mercedes in the remake of the 1995 Mexican telenovela Maria Mercedes. She was born in Dubai where her father used to work. She is the second of three siblings, of a Filipino mother and a half Lebanese, half British father. She was three years old when her mother moved and brought her and her elder sister, Pamela, to the Philippines. Her mother left her father due to his infidelity. Her younger sister, Megan, was born in Mexico where her parents reconciled but eventually separated again because of unknown reasons. She remains in contact with her father, who now works overseas as a marine anthropologist. She studied in Far Eastern University.








3. Heart Evangelista aka Love Marie Ongpauco


        Love Marie Payawal Ongpauco (born February 14, 1985), better known by her stage name Heart Evangelista, is a Filipina actress, TV show host, singer, VJ, and endorser. Her foundation aims to help children with respiratory diseases, and she is also a spokesperson for Philippine Animal Welfare Society. Her current beau is Senator Chiz Escudero.








4. Toni Gonzaga aka Celestine Cruz Gonzaga


        Celestine Cruz "Toni" Gonzaga (born January 20, 1984), better known as Toni Gonzaga, is a Filipino singer, television host, and actress. She started her career in GMA Network then later moved to ABS-CBN in 2005. She hosts the entertainment talk show The Buzz, and the reality shows Pinoy Big Brother and The Voice of the Philippines. She is also a co-host and a performer in the musical variety show ASAP.






5. Cristine Reyes aka Ara Marie Cristine Reyes
        Ara Marie Cristine Reyes (born on February 5, 1989 in Marikina City, Metro Manila, Philippines), better known as Cristine Reyes, is a Filipina actress. She became a contestant of GMA-7's reality TV program, StarStruck. She is managed by Viva Artists Agency and a contract artist of ABS-CBN. She has since taken part in different ABS-CBN shows, including Kahit Isang Saglit (2008) and the eponymous title role in Eva Fonda (2009).

        Samuelle Lynne Acosta "Sam" Pinto (born December 11, 1989) is a Filipino actress and commercial model. She became known to people after being a part of the reality series, Pinoy Big Brother: Double Up. Originally a House B housemate, she moved to House A after a week of her stay inside Big Brother's House. She has been saved by her fans through voting on several eviction nights before finally getting the boot on the night of January 9, 2010.






7. Anne Curtis aka Anne Ojales Curtis-Smith

        Anne Ojales Curtis-Smith, also known as Anne Curtis-Smith or simply Anne Curtis (born 17 February 1985 in Wangaratta, Victoria, Australia), is a Filipino-Australian beauty queen, actress, television host, recording artist, and VJ in the Philippines. She had starred in several television series, which include Hiram (2004–2005), Kampanerang Kuba (2005), Maging Sino Ka Man (2006–2007) and Dyosa (2008), and has hosted the noontime show It's Showtime. As of 2014, she portrays the iconic Komiks character Dyesebel in Mars Ravelo's Dyesebel.
