During a press conference, former Kapamilya actor Alwyn Uytingco finally confirmed his secret wedding with Jennica Garcia, the daughter of actress Jean Garcia. They tied the knot in a highly-private Christian ceremony last February 12 at the Victory Christian Fellowship in Greenhills, with only a select group of family and friends headed by the officiating pastor as witnesses. Alwyn, 26, and Jennica, 24, think getting married at an age when most of their colleagues are still dating their significant other is fine because they have faith God is blessing them.
Jennica Garcia is the only daughter of Jean Garcia and Jigo Garcia. She started her career when she got the role of Karen Manansala in Impostora, her first GMA show. She landed her first movie role in Regal Films' Hide and Seek. She has paired with Mart Escudero, who won StarStruck's Ultimate Loveteam (with Kris Bernal), in her shows in GMA. It was also said that she dated Mart. The cause of their break-up was because of a third party, and one of the people involved was JC Tuiseco whom Jennica worked with in one episode of Maynila.
