Marion Aunor is a Filipina singer and recording artist. She began her career after winning third place in the 2013 Himig Handog. She is a contract recording artist for Star Records. She is also the niece of actress and singer Nora Aunor.
Meanwhile, Philippine Movie Press Club (PMPC) is giving awards for music. It has become a much anticipated event giving due importance and recognition to the pillars of the OPM (Original Pilipino Music). On its 6th PMPC Star Awards for Music, Marion Aunor was named the best new female recording Artist of the year.
