Empress Karen Carreon Schuck (born February 19, 1993), sometimes credited only as Empress, is a Filipina-German actress and commercial model who is a former member of ABS-CBN's Star Magic. Before she became a Star Magic artist, she first appeared on several GMA-7 shows such as Ikaw Lang Ang Mamahalin as Young Claressa, in Ang Iibigin Ay Ikaw as Young Elmina and in Etheria as Cassiopeia.
She has returned to GMA network through the upcoming series entitled “Kailan Ba Tama Ang Mali” as a freelance artist. She expressed how grateful she was to finally be given an opportunity to portray a kontrabida role, something she has never done before in a major soap. She has not yet finalized her decision to sign a contract as of the moment; thus, she works as a freelancer.
