Marian Rivera was born in Madrid, Spain to Francisco Javier Gracia Alonso, a Spaniard and Amalia Rivera, a Filipino from Cavite, Philippines. After her parents were separated, her mother brought her to the Philippines where she grew up most of her life. However, her mother had to leave to continue her work commitment abroad that she was sent to her maternal grandmother.
Her wedding was held last Tuesday afternoon, December 30 at the Immaculate Conception Cathedral in Cubao at around 2 o'clock in the afternoon. Prior to the wedding, she and Dingdong had several bridal showers and stag parties given by friends, family, and colleagues. Their pre-nuptial video and photos were also released. The reception took place at the Mall of Asia Arena.
