Jennylyn Mercado (born May 15, 1987) is a Filipino actress, singer and songwriter. She gained fame as the winner of the first season of the Philippine TV series StarStruck, a reality search show on GMA Network. Aside from being a performer/entertainer, Mercado is also a political activist
She is the first calendar girl of Tanduay who has a baby. She was introduced to the members of the media during the launching of Tanduay Calendar 2015 last December 4 that was held in Quezon City. She succeeded last year's Heart Evangelista.
