Maria Izadora Ussher Calzado (born August 12, 1982) is a Filipina actress, TV host and model, who previously worked as one of GMA-7's homegrown contract artists. After ten years, she signed an exclusive contract with ABS-CBN. Iza also signed a non-exclusive contract with Star Cinema. She finished elementary at School of the Holy Spirit and she finished high school in Miriam College and then went on to take her undergraduate degree in Fine Arts at the University of Santo Tomas.
In January of next year, her contract will expire. She hopes to renew her contract with ABS-CBN. Meanwhile, she is planning to study a short acting course abroad. According to her, she is not yet satisfied with what she has achieved so far career wise. At 33 years old, she still wants to grow and learn. She thinks she can explore more facets of her artistry as a thespian. She mentioned four places (Los Angeles, New York, London and Sydney) where she wanted to study.
