Sarah Geronimo is Chosen by Disney to Sing





 
 
 

Sarah Asher Tua Geronimo (born July 25, 1988) is a Filipino singer and actress. Born and raised in Santa Cruz, Manila, she attained popularity after winning the Star for a Night singing competition on television in 2003. She substantiated the fame with the release of her first album in the same year titled Popstar: A Dream Come True, when it became the best-selling debut album of all-time in the country.




 


 
 


 


She notches another victory in her showbiz career as she is chosen by Disney to sing The Glow, the theme song of their Princess franchise. The Glow which was made to introduce Rapunzel from the animated movie Tangled in Disney’s Princess lineup in 2011, was originally sung by Shannon Saunders. She is a new addition to the list of Filipino celebrities tapped by Disney.
